It's A Small World
Here's a funny tale from today: I was taking role in one of my fifth grade classes and introducing myself to the class as Mrs. Murphy. One girl raised her hand and asked, "Why are all music teachers named Murphy? I had Mr. Murphy, now a Mrs. Murphy, what is going on?" I asked her which school she was coming from and surprise! It was Thomas! So I said, "Yes, that's my husband" and she seemed very surprised, but that seemed to make more sense to her. Later, she asked me to say to Mr. Murphy for her. It was pretty cute.

Too cute! It really is a small world. My son was hanging out with a kid from school last night and his parents are German teachers, one at the high school and one at the middle. My son had her in 6th grade. He said it was weird.
I always thought it was weird when you had teachers that were married. But those are some of the teachers that I still remember after all this time.
Our band and choir teachers were married...Mr and Mrs Junker!

I never had that happen to me,but my son's band teacher was married to the office secretary.
