Feast One Hundred Seventy Three

Appetizer
Name 2 things you would like to accomplish in 2008.

1. Meditate every single day for at least 10 minutes.

2. Publish some writing.

Soup

With which cartoon character do you share personality traits?

Wow. I think sometimes I am like Schroeder from Peanuts Gang. He is always very focused on what he is doing and doesn't like when Lucy interrupts his flow. I can relate because I am not a good multi-tasker, I like to concentrate on one thing without interruption and I am a very quiet person most of the time.

Salad
What time of day (or night) were you born?

I think I was born around 2:30 in the afternoon.

Main Course
Tell us something special about your hometown.

No one can spell it. Also, Dunkin' Donuts is the prime hangout on a Friday or Saturday night. That tells you quite a bit.

Dessert
If you could receive a letter from anyone in the world, who would you want to get one from?

My sister-in-law Suz. She writes exactly what it is (not just what I want to hear!) and it always comes at the right moment.

And for my interior advisor, Terri-yes, we DID change quite a bit around since you have left. We put the gray couch in the back room against the divider, the other walls are empty-moved my computer desk next to the couch. In the living room, we moved the tree to the other side of the couch, moved the blue glider next to the tree (now that the presents are out of the way) and put the end table on the other side of the couch. We also brought the bookcase out from the closet and put it next to the tv. We added a stand up lamp near the glider, a lamp on the bookcase and a lamp on the end table. Ian has a new captain's bed, the crib is in the same spot, but the bed and changing table are now reversed. I'll try to take some photos.

I like your two goals :) The 10 minutes of doing nothing but meditating is a lofty one with your 3 rambuncious boys! I always like to have an hour of alone time every day to help me decompress.

Yes I will need to see pictures,to make sure everything is kocher and that I am feeling the Zen of the rooms.

Does Ian like his new bed?

Hope you are having a good visit with your mother, and break from school.

oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm

I completely forgot about Fri. Feast today! That's what happens when I'm not at work. I don't even know what day it is! LOL

I was born at dinner time, go figure!! I just love to eat and it shows.

Hi,

These feasts are interesting. Do you do them every Friday? Way cool.

Lazy as I am, I have a pile of frustratingly unpublished writing. I want to be discovered... BEFORE I die. I also want to win Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.

I think I'm like Charlie Brown... totally determined to think the best of people and often (though not so much these days) disappointed. I'd still fall for the football trick every time even at age 60.

I think I'd like a letter from Desmond TuTu or Kurt Vonnegut or Abraham Lincoln or maybe JK Rowling... or....

Well, that was fun.

Hope you all have a Happy New Year and a GLORIOUS 2008.

I didn't do my feast this week so please come by and catch me at the next one. *smiles*
