Friday's Feast One Seventy One

Appetizer
Make up a word and give us its definition.

Well, there is "kip" but I will have to check with T before I relay its meaning. Other than that, I am really not with it enough to create my own new word.

Soup

What is currently your favorite song?

My current favorite song is "Jingle Bells" and "Feliz Navidad" as sung by my special ed class. Basically they don't sing, but yesterday they were singing their little hearts on these two songs, dancing around. Of course, they mostly just sang the words Jingle Bells and Feliz Navidad, I was responsible for the rest, but it was a glorious little moment.

Salad
What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?

I just sent T my list and after much thought, I want a meditation pillow and a iPod thing for my car. We have a $$ limit, so I don't know that both will happen, but either one would be great!

Main Course
Name a scent that reminds you of someone special in your life.

Lavender reminds me of my two boys fresh from a bath. I HAVE to use lavender soap until they decide on their own. Right now, lemongrass soap for my husband, who is actually using the soap I bought him-probably because I love to snuggle in his neck when he smells so good. Hey, Terri-it's working!!!

Dessert
Who is someone on television that you feel probably shouldn’t be, and why?

Hmmm. Tough one, considering how little I watch tv anymore. Any of those newsy blowhards who analyze politics and news. Plus, I honestly think those girls from the View have had their day and should move along now. One of them was saying she wasn't sure if the world was round or flat-seriously. That isn't even funny.

I had a hard time with most of these question today.
I don't care for violent things in general so I had a hard time naming people.
Mine up is up.

Your soup warmed my heart & soul!

I like what you said in your main course..whatever works in getting close to your man! YES!

And that's awesome news about the progress your son has made with the sign language. A little at a time and before you know it, he'll be doing sentences! Thank you for sharing that with me! *hugs*

P.S. Plz revise your wishlist to include those cars! *grins*

So The View is still on huh? I haven't watched television in three years. It's a shame that they are acting so stupid. Starr Jones was quite something too. I hope you get both your wishes for Christmas. Have a great FF and weekend.

We get serenaded frequently here by Maya with her rendition of Jingle Bells. Last year at Christmas, she was just starting to string a couple words together and picking up a word here, a word there of different songs and nursery rhymes. This year, she is much better at the words, pronouncing them correctly, enunciating properly and even -miracle of miracles -when she sings, hitting most of the notes correctly too! What a difference a year makes, huh?

I love a clean showered man too :) (noticed I did not say men)

Glad your were able to switch soaps on him :)

hmmmmmm- Kip, will that be someone's new nickname until we are given the story behind it??? I am thinking it is a new curse word for Thomas, since I heard Ian repremanding Thomas for saying "Stupid"

Oooh, I love lemongrass. It's my fav. I don't like lavender because it gives me a headache.

I hope you get what you want. You deserve it.

I didn't get a chance to do my Feast this week! Great one!
