Thankful Post 15

Well, since I am thanking my brother-in-law, I guess I have to include my "other" brother-in-law, Chris. Now, I realize that Chris (and probably many others) does not want to be immortalized on my blog. I know this and I'll keep it short and semi-sweet. But, it's not every day that I am going to actually say something nice about you, Chris, so enjoy the moment.

Chris is a physics teacher and one of those people who actually comprehend science and can explain it to the lowly sister-in-law who many times would rather beg ignorance, but I always learn from him. And I have always said that when my boys need science explanations and projects, Uncle Chris will be the go-to guy. He also has an uncanny touch for computers, so Tom and I find ourselves calling him with computer questions. He talks you through everything as calmly he can and keeps us happily connected to the cyber world.

After emerging from my shell many years ago, Chris became like the brother I never had-the one who teases you for fun, who can take a sarcastic comment or joke and make it last through the ages. I LOVE it and I am so grateful that I did not miss out on the mock sibling-in-law contention. Right, Bug?
Chris is a very giving person. He gives his time and expertise to other family members without a second thought. I have seen it a million times over and it's one of his best qualities. He is also Clever Uncle Chris and although the boys don't get to see him very often, he is always very generous to them. Ian likes to call him "Aunt Chris". Not sure if he knew that one, but there you go.
Chris found his match in Kristen a few years ago and married her this past weekend. We all descended to celebrate their happiness and I have to say that my brother-in-law looked so content. You just know he is in love. Kristen is one of my favorite people and they are a wonderful couple. And my brother-in-law truly deserves the best.

So, yeah, I am thankful for Chris. I even miss him a little bit because he is really fun to joke around with. Love you BUG. Your SIL-Puppybrat

Again, lovely post about one of my bros! I am truly the luckiest girl. Uncle Chris rocks and is one of the sweetest guys on the planet. I'm still high from his wedding and so happy to have Kristen as my new SIL. Whatever you need, he's there to help you, no questions asked. He's Chris the Golden-Hearted. As long as we're waxing poetic about brothers, I'll just give a shout-out to my WonderTwin, Thomas aka Linda's husband and Father of Ian-n-Connor. Also one of the greatest bros on Earth and so much fun!! He's my psychic dance partner and cohort in crime. We just goof and laugh but can also have a serious conversation. How much more can a gal ask for than having Michael, Chris and Tom as brothers? My cup runneth over. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Yes I totally agree on how nice it was to see Chris soooooo happy and content on his wedding day! but you forgot misty- which got the rest of the family that way too.

Chris is always ready to help, I remember how great he was helping us move- actually I guess the family can't move without him- your move to AZ however was beyond duty! (especially from the stories I heard)

As Michael said in his speach (in case you don't remember it as well as me, having heard it at least 75 times) Chris is one of the kindest most generous people he knowS!

Chris you are great! To quote Michael, "You are one of the kindest, most generous people I know." Not only are you my brother but you are also my friend!

Linda, You said some wonderful things about Chris and they are all true. From my point I can differently say that he is a great son and a really supper person. I love the way you too tease each other, Chris, You are a very special person, not only to me but to everyone you meet. As with Michael, remember no big head!!
Love you
Mom
